Destination Hamburg
The City Hamburg:
Hamburg is the second-largest city in Germany and the eighth-largest city in the European Union. The city is home to over 1.8 million people, while the Hamburg Metropolitan Region (including parts of the neighbouring Federal States of Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein) has more than 4.3 million inhabitants.
The Climate:
The warmest months in Hamburg are June, July, and August, with high temperatures of 19.9 to 22.2 °C (68 to 72 °F). The coldest are December, January, and February, with low temperatures of -1.4 to 0 °C (29 to 32 °F).[

Hamburg – a northern German port city – does not only boast a lively international port, the Reeperbahn and famous Fish Market! Hamburg is also well known for its tranquil lakes, historic old town and modern business district in the city and on the Elbe.

Check if your national organization for patients with retinal diseases can organize a group trip for conference participants. Hamburg and its surroundings are worth a few days off!
